The G23SS from Hitachi is a 230mm (9 in) angle grinder suitable for heavier cutting and grinding jobs. Its 1900W motor has excellent overload durability for heavy duty work. The armature coil has extra protection to minimise damage caused by dust and prolong the grinder’s life. In addition, the bearing retainers have a labyrinth construction to make the ball bearings dust proof. The large switch has a double action for extra safety. A spindle lock makes changing grinding wheels quick and easy. The front handle can be fitted in three positions for left handed, right handed or vertical use.
